Solution: Given, the set of consecutive natural number:

N = 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 all are consecutive natural numbers.

When we find the sum of consecutive natural number then we add all the values one by one. After adding all the values we get:

20 + 21 = 41;

20 + 21 + 22 = 63;

20 + 21 + 22 + 23 = 86;

20 + 21 + 22 + 23 + 24 = 110;

20 + 21 + 22 + 23 + 24 + 25 = 135;

20 + 21 + 22 + 23 + 24 + 25 + 26 = 161;

And so on… in the above example we see that the sum of consecutive natural number is sometimes even and sometimes odd.

Every consecutive natural is obtained by adding 1 to the previous natural number, in these values the number 1 is not included because 1 is also a natural number and for this number there is no previous natural number.
