So, to start with, switch on the graphing calculator & trace the picture on display that is marked as "List Editor." Twice press enter to start working in editing screen. There would be 4 columns listed on editing screen, marked as "List1, List2" and so on. In the list 1 column enter the data values that you wish to plot and then press F2 button on display of calculator. For instance, we enter the following values in List1: 1, 1, 2, 2, 4, 6, 6.7, 7.4, 8, 8.1, 9, 10, 12.1. Likewise enter the data values for other lists also. Then chose the "Graph Set - Up" option to finalize.
On the plot set up screen press "F1" button to move on to another screen where you may decide what kind of graph has to be plotted. For this click the "Graph Type" option which would bring 5 options in front of you of these options choose the option "Box Plot" and press enter.
In box for “A” specify the list whose plot has to be drawn. For instance, we select List 1 for its data value to be plotted. For this you need to press the "List Specify option” and then press enter twice to get back to the plot set - up screen. When you press the button F5, you get the box and whisker plot in front of you.
For example, suppose we have to make a box plot for 1, 1, 2, 2, 4, 6, 6.7, 7.4, 8, 8.1, 9, 10, 12.1.
